Crows on a wintery day
My name is Elissa Milsome and I was born in Bushey, Hertfordshire.
I have lived the Catskill mountains upstate New York, the Loire Valley and West Africa, but now reside in not so wild West Berkshire, where I am lucky to be able to enjoy some wonderful rambles in the lovely countryside which are inspiration for a lot of my work.
I graduated from Kingston University with a degree in graphic design and Illustration in 1974, starting my career working in advertising, creating pack designs and storyboards for TV and magazine ads, moving on eventually to IPC magazines.
I am an exhibiting member of the Reading Guild of Artists
Particularly liking fine detail, I work mainly with water colours and acrylics, loving to draw and paint the things closest to my heart...animals, places and people.
My works are primarily studies and reflections of wildlife and our beautiful natural world.
